Oregon-based Gerber Knives just added two new butterfly open multi-tools to its expansive collection: the Suspension-NXT and Truss. Both are built on a spring-loaded needlenose plier frame and come with a bevy of spring-locking tools in the handles. 

Gerber Suspension-NXT

Based on the design of the existing Suspension design, the Suspension-NXT incorporates 15 tools (three more than its predecessor) and boasts reduced weight at just 6.5 ounces. It retails for $35.

The Truss is an all-new tool from Gerber. It features 17 tools. It's heavier and bigger than the Suspension-NXT but is mean to be a full-size multi-tool for those with more needs. It retails for $46. On the Truss, you'll find:
